🇨🇳 China — Outbound Pathway
Tuition for students headed to a UK or overseas university
For Chinese students on an outbound pathway — whether that's the IB Diploma, or the Gaokao plus a UK Foundation Year. Taught in English, by UK-based tutors, mapped to the specific credential each student is actually sitting. Lessons at China-friendly evening times (6pm–10pm CST).

Two offers, each scoped to what's genuinely teachable in English — not a claim to cover the Gaokao's Chinese-medium subject papers.
China outbound tuition — FAQs
Do you teach the Gaokao's Chinese-medium subject papers?
No — the Gaokao's core subject papers are taught and examined in Chinese, which sits outside what this site's tutors teach. What we do offer is genuinely English-language: IB Diploma Mathematics for students on an outbound university pathway, and English-paper plus UK Foundation Year maths bridging support for Gaokao-track students. We'd rather say plainly what's outside our scope than overclaim.
Is this the same as your international-school China page?
Related but different. Our existing China page is for expatriate families at British-curriculum international schools in cities like Shanghai and Shenzhen, studying IGCSE/A-Level day to day. This page is for the outbound-pathway offer above — IB Diploma or Gaokao-plus-Foundation-Year students aiming at a UK or overseas university.
How do lesson timings work between the UK and China?
China is 7-8 hours ahead of the UK, so an evening slot in China (6pm-10pm CST) lands in the UK late morning to early afternoon — a workable, repeatable weekly time for most students and tutors.
How are fees paid from China?
Payment is by international card or bank transfer; we'll confirm current rates when you enquire. The first discussion — where we assess level, goals and the right exam board — is always free.
